Hello, I am so glad your here! My name is Jme Lorenger, and I’m the person behind Lorenger Lens Photography. I’m a wife, a mother, and now, a beginner photographer with a big dream: to turn my passion into art, and to help people see themselves in their best light.
Photography has always felt like magic to me freezing laughter, telling family stories, discovering strength and beauty in people. And now I want to do that for you. Families, parents, kiddos, athletes, creative spirits, and everyone in between who wants more than a snapshot—they want something real.
Why I’m Doing This
Finding my style: I’m learning every day. Playing with light, experimenting with colors and shadows, trying new angles. I don’t have a signature look yet, but I’m excited to grow and evolve, and I want you to be part of that journey.
Honoring both roles: Being a mom and a wife is wonderful. It’s hard, too. But through photography, I’m forging an identity that’s uniquely me. This business is a chance to claim something for myself—creativity, inspiration, and growth.
Serving local families & clients: My heart is in Butte County (including Chico, Oroville, Paradise, and surrounding areas). I want to help you preserve childhood in all its messiness, document athletic pride, capture boudoir confidence, and create portraits that feel honest and beautiful for you.

How much does a session cost?
Since I’m just starting out, I’m offering special introductory rates. Pricing depends on the type of session (family, sport, boudoir), location, number of photos, and whether you want prints or just digital images. Feel free to reach out for a custom quote.
Where do we shoot the photos?
I love natural light and outdoor settings. Parks, fields, or somewhere that feels meaningful to you, But I’m flexible! I Have studio lighting, and working to add more extras such as back drops and mobile studio set ups. Homes, studios, or even unique interiors work well, depending on the look you want.
How long does a session take?
Family or child portrait sessions usually run 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes. Boudoir might take longer for posing and comfort. Sports shoots depend on the event or practice schedule.
How soon will we get our photos?
My goal is to have proofs ready within 2 weeks and final edited images delivered within 3–4 weeks, depending on how busy things are. I’ll always communicate clearly about the timeline.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourselves! Sometimes props or outfits that mean something to you make photos more personal or maybe a favorite toy, a jersey, or something that reflects personality. I’ll send suggestions before our session.
What if I’m nervous in front of the camera?
Totally normal! I’ll guide you through poses and prompts. I believe the best photos are candid moments of connection. Laughs, hugs, real conversations. No pressure to “look perfect.” Posing is something I'm learning as well.
